MINI TRINITY AMETHYST SET

The Holy Trinity is forever present in my life, the reason why many of my designs have three components. This limited collection of 6mm gemstones + gold filled spheres was chosen because they are the gemstones that instinctively called to me for this collection. WHY THE TRINITY- Jesus seemed to be gone forever, but when the Holy Spirit rushed upon the Apostles like a wind and appeared over their heads like tongues of fire, his presence among them and within them was impossible to dismiss.

AMETHYST: The gem's purple colors represent purity of spirit, although some believed the colors alluded to the wounds and suffering of Christ.

For many years, amethyst was held to be one of the most precious gemstones, often favored by royalty or exclusively by the clergy as a symbol for the diety of Christ. It was even held for many years in the same regard as the diamond until more abundant supplies of amethyst became available. Leonard da Vinci once said that amethyst helps to quicken intelligence and get rid of evil thoughts. Other qualities like peace, stability, courage and strength are said to be derived from this gemstone.

For those familiar with Old Testament history, amethyst was one of the twelve gemstones that represented the twelve tribes of Israel.
